now its enough to talk about food and recipes. now lets talk something that is more interesting and fun. as for me dikir barat still have big influence in the kelantanese life. we still love hearing it because the song not only can give fun and entertainment but most of the song have moral value. for example the song title "pesan ibu" sing by Halim Yazid has a lot of advice and good value and the interesting part is that the tempo is taken from the song "season in the sun" sing by Westlife. from here we can see that dikir barat is not rigid. we can hear dikir barat in lots of version from hindi song, English song and others that have much more values than the original song actually. however it is up to the person who listen to it. dikir barat is not about copying or doesn't have their own identity by using other people song but it is one of the way to make dikir barat to be interesting and can attract the people.
